Available units are Inches, Feet, Yards, Miles, Millimeters, Centimeters, Meters, and Kilometers. Select Map Space to specify label widths and heights in Mapping Coordinate System (MCS) units. Available units are Points, Inches, Millimeters, or Centimeters. Select Device Space to specify label widths and heights in screen units. For more information, see Using the Expression Builder. Select a property or select Expression to define an expression for the label text. A single label is used for feature segments that have the same property value. Advanced Placementįor line features, specifies a single-line label which follows a path and shrinks to fit.
For all geometry types but lines, this is the only option available. Specifies that the label can have multiple lines of text, but no advanced placement functionality.
Select the check box to turn on the labels.
